We are Kazuyo and Geoff, the Directors of Japan Special Tours. Japan Specialists and tourism experts who have enabled, operated and supported large group travel between Japan and Australia in collaboration with major Japanese travel agents for 20 years, uniquely connecting our countries, bringing people, cultures and customs together with our tours.
We are independent and work exclusively with Japan, creating the very best private journeys through spectacular off track destinations.

We have personally supported many first time visitors to Australia, to help them feel at ease and enjoy a very foreign experience and we are able to offer the same assistance for you in Japan.
We have lived in and travelled extensively throughout Japan, are highly knowledgeable and qualified to host your tour personally.

Kazuyo
Geoff
If there is someone you want connecting you with Japan, It's Kazuyo. With a degree in Language, she is natural in English and a professional translator. She is also a business woman with a lifetime of experience and understanding in two very different environments. Her unique talent lies in connecting Japanese and Australian business styles and ensuring a high quality, fair and trustworthy result. As a host, she is beyond peer, having overseen tour operations and providing emergency assistance and support of groups for 20 years , she has also acted as a VIP guide for visiting dignitaries, National sporting teams and business groups. Kazuyo is a leader who has also trained many new tour guides and is always there when most needed.
A person who you are lucky to meet, Kazuyo is also a qualified Ikebana Sensei and Florist
With an Honours degree in Tourism Administration and a background in the 5 star Hospitality Industry, Geoff has been creating, leading and supporting group tours for over 20 years. With strong ties to Japan, a unique understanding of the people and culture and a talent for understanding the tourism industry, he has now focused all efforts into mastering his craft and providing a uniquely complete first class travel experience for you. He is also afraid of heights too, but if you want to cross Japan's highest foot suspension bridge, Geoff is the person you want to lead you across.
